Recovering from a leg injury or leg surgery can be a difficult experience. Dealing with crutches is probably the most difficult part of the recovery. Over my six ankle surgeries and endless time on crutches, I have become somewhat of an expert on using crutches. This happened partly from hours and hours of researching the subject, but it was mostly due to my determination to remain as independent as possible. I have had many nurses, physical therapists, and radiology technicians comment on how effortlessly I make using crutches look. I have compiled everything that I have learned about using crutches on my tip pages. Hopefully, this information will make your time on crutches easier. I have also provided many other tips on how to make your recovery easier.
